FOX International Channels and AMC launched the critically acclaimed and Golden Globe nominated series The Walking Dead virtually simultaneously in an unprecedented global launch that marked the first time a television drama premiered in similar fashion to a theatrical release.

The series debuted in 120 countries, spoke 33 different languages and was viewed in 250 million households when it launched in the fall 2010.
